Meet Our Team
Jay Norberg
Pharmacist and OwnerJay started thinking about opening Hartley Hometown Pharmacy shortly after hearing from a former Hartley resident that the previous pharmacy had closed. After speaking with local business and government representatives Jay announced his decision to open the pharmacy on September 9, 2013.
Jay has over 29 years of experience working in retail, hospital, Long-Term Care, Assisted Living and compounding pharmacies. Jay has worked at A and S Drugs, located in Pipestone, MN, since January, 1993, and purchased the business in May of 2010. A highly qualified pharmacist, Jay holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from South Dakota State University and is CPR and Immunization certified, as well as being a diabetic shoe fitter.
Jay is passionate about continuing to build on the solid A & S Drugs foundation and providing the best possible pharmacy care and customer service to the community of Hartley. Despite being kept extremely busy running both companies on a daily basis, Jay always has time for his customers.
When Jay isn’t busy ensuring that Hartley Hometown Pharmacy is maintaining extremely high levels of service and care he can be found spending time with his family. He is also an active member of the community through the Cornerstone Free Church.
